Read m Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday and handed over a memorandum on farmers' loan waiving demands. Sources said that the meeting lasted for five minutes and Gandhi left after requesting the PM to look into the matter. Meanwhile, during BJP Parliamentary Party meet, Modi slammed Congress and said that for them party is above the country but for the BJP country’s interests are supreme.

He said, “Earlier, Opposition would join hands against government over scams like 2G, coal gate but now Opposition is united against government's steps to curb black money and corruption.” He urged people to adopt digital economy as a way of life and appreciated Bihar and Odisha chief ministers for welcoming demonetisation.
