Domestic equity markets are likely to open in green on Wednesday following Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX Nifty) and firm Asian cues.

SGX Nifty was trading 17.50 points, or 0.19 per cent, up at 9313 around 8.05 am (IST), indicating a firm start for NSE Nifty index.

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services: The company has reported a decline of 37 percent in standalone net profit at Rs 234 crore for the last quarter ended March 31, 2017. Its net profit stood at Rs 370 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

IDFC Bank: The bank on Tuesday posted a net profit growth of 7 per cent at Rs 176 crore for the fourth quarter ended March. The corresponding figure in the previous fiscal read Rs 165.10 crore. Income during the quarter grew by a marginal 1 per cent to Rs 558.40 crore, as against Rs 554.50 crore.

Axis Bank: The private sector lender will announce its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 later in the day.
