Rupee opens 11 Paise lower at 66.47 per Dollar

The Indian rupee snapped two-day winning streak on Thursday. 

 

The currency has opened at 66.47 a dollar, down 11 paise compared with 66.36 per dollar on Wednesday. 

 

modest data emanating from US was putting pressure on dollar as markets re-think a potential September rate hike. Emerging markets currencies particularly rupee have gained against dollar.
