Shares of Idea Cellular plummeted nearly 7 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange amid spurt in volume trade. As per data available with exchange, as much as 12.38 crore shares have changed hand in the day’s trade so far on the BSE. Weighed down by block deal, shares of company declined as much as 6.54 per cent to hit intra-day low of Rs 107.10 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar fashion, stocks of company fell 2.36 per cent to Rs 111.85apiece on the National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 28,796.46, up 16.42 points, or 0.06 per cent, at 12:00 hours.
