Equity benchmarks rallied for the second consecutive session on Tuesday as the Nifty closed above 9,300 for the first time every. The Sensex surged 287.40 points or 0.97 percent to 29,943.24 and the Nifty gained 88.65 points or 0.96 percent at 9,306.60, backed by banking & financials, FMCG and Reliance Industries.
