Gammon India jumps over 4% as Q3 loss narrows

Shares of Gammon India surged over 4 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the engineering and construction firm’s net loss narrowed to Rs 20.53 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 against net loss of Rs 119.06 crore in the year ago period. Boosted by Q3 earnings, shares of company gained as much as 4.59 per cent to hit an intraday high of Rs 12.75 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange. 

In a similar fashion, stocks of company rose 4.12 per cent to Rs 12.65 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 28,280.99, up 125.43 points, or 0.44 per cent.
