Nestle India Q3 PAT seen down 10.4% to Rs 245.5 cr

 



Centrum has come out with its second quarter (July-September) earnings estimates for the Consumer sector. The brokerage house expects Nestle India to report net profit at Rs 245.5 crore, down 10.4 percent quarter-on-quarter. Net Sales are expected to decrease by 1.4 percent Q-o-Q (up 28.1 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 2224 crore, according to Centrum. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) are likely to fall by 0.4 percent Q-o-Q (up 47.9 percent Y-o-Y) to Rs 422.5 crore.

Centrum's report on Nestle India

 

We expect domestic sales to grow by 28% due to ramp-up in Maggi sales. Adjusted PAT is expected to increase by 42% to Rs 2,455mn. Operating profit is set to increase by 48% to Rs 4,225mn as operating margins expand by 254bps due to higher sales of Maggi and lower other overhead cost.
