Nifty ends at 8699, Sensex Rises 145 pts
On a day of consolidation, the market has ended on a strong note.
The Sensex was up 145.47 points or 0.5 percent at 28129.84, and the Nifty climbed 40.30 points or 0.5 percent at 8699.40.
About 1587 shares have advanced, 1235 shares declined, and 226 shares are unchanged.
