The market has opened on a higher note with the Nifty reclaiming 8300. The 50-share index is up 42.20 points or 0.5 percent at 8330.80. The Sensex is up 131.59 points or 0.5 percent at 27031.15. Tata Steel, Dr Reddy's Labs, HDFC Bank, Infosys and ICICI Bank are top gainers in the Sensex.
