International Market Morning Update by Ripples Financial Advisory



S&P500 is trading at 2383 today, it has not been able to trade above its all-time high of 2401. Yesterday Trump announced tax reforms, where there are plans to bring down income tax brackets from seven to three, where top bracket rate would be 35 percent and lower rates would be 25 percent and 10 percent. 

The president has also proposed to lower down the corporate tax rate to 15 percent from the current 35 percent. Trump's plan would also eliminate the alternative minimum tax as well as the estate tax, which is also known as the "death tax." 

Twitter (TWTR) reported better than expected first-quarter results. Procter & Gamble (PG) also registered better than expected third quarter results. German Index Dax yesterday closed above its all-time high at 12472. MSCI emerging market index is trading 979.
