Suzlon Energy hits 52-week high on robust Q4

Shares of Suzlon Energy rallied over 8 per cent, hitting 52-week high, on the Bombay stock Exchange amid surge in volume trade after the company reported consolidated net profit of Rs 579 crore for the March quarter, compared with loss of Rs 334 crore a year earlier. Driven by strong Q4, shares of the company gained as much as 8.27 per cent to hit 52-week high of Rs 22.25 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The scrip was currently trading at Rs 21.20 against previous close price of Rs 20.55.

In a similar fashion, stocks of firm were trading 2.91 per cent higher at Rs 21.20 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 30,625.18, up 160.26 points or 0.53 per cent, at 11:10 hour.
