Shares of low-cost carrier SpiceJet soared over 4 per cent, hitting a 52-week high, on the Bombay Stock Exchange amid a surge in volume trade. According to data available with the exchange, Gurgaon- headquartered airline has rallied 104 per cent to Rs 116.90 in the calendar year 2017, from Rs 57.20 on December 30, 2016. Continuing its gaining streak, shares of the company advanced as much as 4.09 per cent to hit a 52-week high of Rs 116.90 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The script was currently trading at Rs 115.85 against the previous close price of Rs 112.30. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 29,947.84, up 26.66 points or 0.09 percent, at 11:00 hour.
