Shares of HCL Technologies, Bajaj Finance gained more than 1 percent in the early trade on Monday after shares get included in the S&P BSE Sensex.
HCL Technologies and Bajaj Finance has been included in the 30-share BSE Sensex effective December 24, 2018. However, Wipro and Adani Ports excluded from the index on the same day.

Asia Index Private Limited, a 50-50 partnership between S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC and BSE Limited, also decided to make changes in the other indices also. In the BSE 100 index as well as Carbonex, Edelweiss Financial Services is going to replace Power Finance Corporation.
In the Bankex, City Union Bank will replace Punjab National Bank. In the BSE TECK, NIIT Technologies and TV Today Network will be included in place of Inox Leisure and Infibeam Avenues.
At 09:22 hrs Bajaj Finance was quoting at Rs 2,399.25, up 0.88 percent, HCL Technologies was quoting at Rs 979.30, 0.03 percent.
Wipro was quoting at Rs 303.70, down 1.22 percent and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone was quoting at Rs 361.10, 1.65 percent on the BSE.
